Got a dodgy message saying they’d switched their phone number - at first I thought it was one of my girls. Asked who it was, then they told me to message them on WhatsApp. Said their online banking got frozen because of the number change and they needed me to urgently send some money. They sent me the payee info and asked for £2450. Nearly went ahead with it but double-checked with my daughter on her home phone and she said it wasn’t her. Stopped straight away and reported the whole thing to the bank and Action Fraud.
