I keep getting these messages about a "missed parcel" or something similar. Just ignore, block and remove them - total scam for sure!

About three days back this number sent me a message saying I'd been near someone who tested positive for the omicron covid variant. They told me to order a test kit by clicking a link. I didn’t touch the link tho, just to be safe.

My partner got a text on the evening of Thursday 27th Jan 2022, sometime between 8 and 9pm, warning that she’d been near someone who tested positive for the Omicron variant. The message said it was from the NHS - but before clicking any link, she deleted it straight away. They claimed it was official, but we’ve both been pretty careful and don’t go out much due to other health stuff we've dealt with long before Covid. Still, it made us hesitate for a few minutes. I looked up the number +447355035505 and realised it had no connection to the NHS whatsoever, so we didn’t risk clicking anything. I’m not sure if that link would’ve compromised the phone or been some kind of scam, but it’s definitely wise to think twice before tapping on such links. These scams are coming at everyone nowadays, vaccinated or not, no matter your background, age, or nationality.

Woke up to a text at nearly 5 am saying they attempted a parcel delivery. Im expecting something but theres no way they would try dropping it off that early in the morning at like 4:43. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

I didn’t bother answering, figured it was probably some sort of scam.

The message was really badly written and full of mistakes, claiming to be from the post office about a parcel delivery. Thing is, the post office don’t actually do parcel deliveries - that’s Royal Mail’s job. And they split ways back in 2012 anyway, so this definitely seemed fishy.

Got a message from the NHS saying I was near someone who tested positive for the Omicron variant. It had a link to click but I didn’t touch it. I decided to Google the number instead and that’s how I found this site. My wife and I haven’t left the house, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

On the 27th of January 2022, just after 3 in the morning, I got a text claiming they attempted to deliver a parcel but needed to reschedule. Who expects a delivery at such a ridiculous hour? What’s strange is I am actually supposed to get a parcel today, so how did they know that?

Got a call from someone claiming to be the Post Office, saying I needed to put in my details to have a parcel sent again. Definitely a scam, so don't share any info with them. If they can't deliver something, the actual Post Office always leaves a card for you.

This is definitely a scam. The post office doesn’t usually call to give out card details if you weren't home, plus they don’t ask for any payment to re-deliver packages. Feels really dodgy to me.

They mentioned something about a parcel delivery but honestly, I reckon it’s a scam. Sounds quite dodgy to me and could be risky to get involved with.
