Got a text saying I’d been near someone with Covid and I should get an Omicron PCR test through a link they sent. NHS never charges for Covid tests, so this smells like a complete scam to me.

Received a message just before midnight on 30th Jan claiming I was a Covid contact. It was strange that it came from a personal phone number and so late at night. The text told me to follow a link for a PCR test. Only when I looked up the number later did I see the poor English involved. Ended up using a lateral flow test to be safe. Like someone else said, it's a total scam. Don’t click that link! From Edinburgh here.

Got a dodgy text saying: PostOffice says they couldn’t deliver my parcel and want me to pick a new date here: ... Sure as heck, I flagged it right away!

Got a message saying I'd been near someone with Omicron Covid. They then sent me a link which looked dodgy, telling me to buy a PCR test for home use. Seems like a scam to me.

Just got this one too, left me scratching my head, called at 11:41pm on 30/01/22. The message said something like, “NHS: You’ve have come into contact with someone with Omicron. Please get a Test Kit here: (website link).” The grammar was all over the place - “You’ve have” - seriously? No way I’m clicking that dodgy link!
