There's a website out there misusing the NHS logo to solicit payment for a PCR test that’s completely unnecessary. Be cautious and definitely don’t share any personal information!

Received a rather dubious text just before midnight on the 30th of January. It was making a racket about Covid contact-definitely raised my suspicions. The fact they used my personal number and sent it at such a late hour didn’t sit right with me. They wanted me to follow a link for a PCR test, which I thought was a bit suspect. Only realised how poorly it was worded after searching the number online. To be honest, I even threw away a lateral flow test just to cover my bases. I’m totally with the previous commenters on this-it's a dodgy scam for sure. Whatever you do, steer clear of that LINK! Cheers from Edinburgh.

I received a message informing me that I've supposedly been in touch with an individual carrying the Omicron variant of Covid. They attempted to steer me towards a dodgy website to purchase a PCR test for home use, which raised my suspicions.

I had a similar experience; they reached out to inform me that I'm linked to someone who's tested positive for Omicron.

I've just experienced the same thing-got a message timed at 23:41 on the 30th of January, 2022. It read, "NHS: You've been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Omicron. Kindly visit this link to order a Test Kit: (website link)." Can you believe the dreadful grammar? "You've have"? Not a chance I'm clicking that link!
