Just got a call from someone saying "Hey Dad, save my new number" - I'm a 17 year old girl, so yeah, definitely not my dad lol 😅. Checked out some other replies and it’s pretty obvious it’s a scam.

This phone number was used just like mentioned earlier to trick my dad into thinking I’d sent a text asking for money to be transferred. I reckon the money was meant for someone called Filip-Liviu Niculae, who I believe is Romanian and lives in Coventry. The account is with TSB Bank, also in Coventry, sort code 77-68-29, account number 0011644, and it looks like it’s being used to launder money from crimes. I’ve already reported it to Action Fraud and TSB Bank. Like I said, they made the number look like it was really me contacting him.
