Got a call from HMRC supposedly, which freaked me out cos I had just talked to them not long ago. It’s pretty easy for someone a bit trusting to get caught out by this. I’ve blocked the number straight away, but knowing scammers, they’ll probably just try ringing from a different one soon enough!

I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC telling me I hadn’t paid my taxes. They said if I didn’t hit 1 right away, they’d come to my house straight away. Totally felt like a scam to me.
