Got a call claiming to be from BT saying my internet was at risk and needed to be cut off immediately. The voice sounded really serious and official, telling me to press 1. Utter nonsense! I don’t even have BT at all. It’s scary how tricky these scammers are - older folks who actually use BT might easily fall for this rubbish. Absolute nasty people. Hope they get their comeuppance.
