I just got two texts from the same number but with different stuff - the first one was about some kind of subsidy payment like mentioned before, and then today they sent me another saying I haven't applied for my winter fuel payment, and if I don’t sort it out quick, I’ll miss out on it.

I got a text from this number saying they were from the DWP, but since when do they send texts from a mobile phone? The message said something about a subsidy application for 2024-2025, telling me I hadn’t applied yet and that I needed to do it by 11 April 2025. It also mentioned applicants could get between £200 and £300 if they applied, but if you’re late, your application would just be closed. There was a link to click on to fill in the form too: https://rebrand.ly/763ce9?LpS=Am3Ts6. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
