This is really risky as it might fool people into thinking it's official. Here's a message I got from this number: It claimed to be from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), saying I hadn’t applied for the Winter Heating Allowance for 2024-25 yet, so they couldn’t pay me the £340 entitlement. They gave a deadline of 26 February to apply and asked me to use the link below to submit the form. Got a call claiming there were parcels from DHL for me. The caller spoke Chinese and seemed to be targeting new Chinese students. I’ve heard about other Chinese students who got scammed out of thousands of pounds by similar tactics. If you’re a Chinese student, please watch out and don’t fall for this!

This number, 07351481002, rang a Chinese student saying there was a DHL parcel to collect. Next thing they knew, a lot of money was taken from their bank account. Be careful with calls like this!
