I got a text from this number claiming to be from the DWP Service Centre saying I hadn’t finished my Energy Allowance application. They said the allowance is £300 and I had to send my application by 10 June or it wouldn’t get processed. The message had a link https://bit.ly/4mTYtu1?ziz=z0472p and told me to reply with a "y" then close the text and open it in my browser. It all sounds dodgy to me - what even is an energy allowance application? Anyone else get something like this? Seems like a scam to me.
