I got a call from someone claiming there was a tax fraud case with HMRC against me. It sounded dodgy but they were really pushing it hard.

I got calls from this number on three separate occasions, but whenever I picked up, there was no one on the line.

loads of calls come through saying theyre from bt but when i ask who provides my internet they just hang up. never get a straight answer from them. quite annoying really.

This number kept ringing my phone loads of times, but when I picked up they never answered. Eventually, when I did get someone on the line, they said they were from BT, but it didn't sound legit at all.

I had a quick chat with them and asked if they ever felt alright with themselves when going to sleep at night. They replied saying they wished they had a proper job, then just hung up. Bit irritating, but also kind of pitiful really.

These people claimed to be from BT and wanted me to turn on my computer so they could fix some router issues. I told them I suspected they were scammers and that I’d contact the police. Their response was just "f##k you." Proper rude!
