Said they were from HSBC and told me someone was using my card. He got very frustrated on the phone when I called him out for scamming me I blocked and reported and they later changed their profile picture to virgin media bank to scam more people.

So I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, some guy saying he was Sebastian from Lloyds Bank. He told me my card had been used overseas, and then tried to get me to set up a new payee, claiming it was to catch some fraudsters. That’s when I figured it was dodgy and hung up. About ten minutes later, the same number messaged me on WhatsApp pretending to be from Lloyds Bank again, but I just ignored it.

I reckon this is a scam. Someone said they were from the fraud team at TSB, but it sounded dodgy. The guy, who said his name was Sebastian, already had my address and the first six digits of my card, which made me suspicious. Best to be careful with calls like these.
