Someone pretended to be my dad, saying his phone was messed up and he was on a mate’s spare work phone. He said he had a friend at Argos who could hook him up with a discount on a new one since getting it fixed was too pricy. Then he asked if I could either send my card info or if he should send me a link to pay, explaining that his SIM didn’t work in the temporary phone and his bank needed to send a confirmation to his SIM, but it wasn’t possible, so he needed me to get the approval message instead.
