Got one of those dodgy calls from a supposed bank scammer. An automated voice told me my card had been charged £300 at Amazon, then mentioned over £1,000 spent abroad. They said to press 1 to approve or 2 to chat with an adviser. The funny thing is, they actually rang the reception at my work, but we don’t have any cards linked to this number at all. Total waste of time!
