Total scam, be careful!3 monthsI got a call from some bloke asking me to help him get out of jail. After a bit of digging, I found out he's actually a secret Azerbaijani fellow with a dodgy past. Apparently, he tracks down numbers and then attacks the poor person on the other end with some strange, sharp, sixteen-inch object shaped like... well, you can imagine. Proper dodgy stuff.3 monthsGot a call from a number I didn't recognise, no voicemail left. It rang a couple times but they hung up as soon as I picked up. Managed to block it straight away.3 monthsI answered the call and all I heard was complete silence on the other end. After a few moments with me staying quiet, they just ended the call. Looks like they wanted me to say something first, then gave up when I didn't say a word.3 monthsGot a call pretending to be from EE, trying to fish for my info. They even sent me EE login codes like they were trying to get into my account or something. Felt dodgy so I rang EE to check, and yep, total scam. They rang me back later and when I challenged them, they got quite pushy, saying stuff like "you need to listen to me". My advice: steer clear and never share your details.EE3 monthsI answered with a quick "Hello?" but all I got was silence, then they ended the call with this weird buzzing noise.
