My phone never marked it as spam. I answered because I had just been on the phone discussing insurance and figured it might be related. The person on the other end just ended the call straight away. I didn’t get any voicemail or texts after. After reading others’ comments, I decided to block the number.

This number has called me repeatedly out of the blue a few minutes ago. The first time I answered, a woman with an Asian accent claimed to be from O2, which I have no deal with whatsoever. I cut the call off straight away, yet they rang back about four more times back to back. I’m cautious about voice cloning scams, so I barely said a word when I picked up. Definitely seems shady to me.

The person on the other end spoke in some language I couldn’t understand, didn’t answer me right when I tried to talk, and just cut the call off after about 12 seconds. Feels like a scam or maybe they were just seeing if the number works.

I reckon it was a scam. As soon as I picked up, they were chatting in some foreign language and then just ended the call pretty quickly.

I got a call and thought it was from a firm I was dealing with before. The person said they were from Three, asking about my account. Thing is, I haven’t been a Three customer for ages, so I told them I reckoned it was a scam and just hung up.
