This lady actually called me knowing my name, asking if my place had sold yet since it was up for sale not long ago. She mentioned she was from Choices. I told her I was tied up and to ring back in half an hour. She agreed but never got back to me. Feels like they were just trying to check if the number matches the owner to maybe sell info? Definitely don’t give out your name to people you don’t know!

someone called claiming to be from Choices Estate Agents, wanting to speak with me as the landlord about renting the property. they had my name and address, but my phone isn’t registered under my name. i told them ‘she’s not available’ and that the house isn’t actually let, adding that ‘she’s away on holiday’. i said i’d have ‘her’ ring them when ‘she’ returns. i’m planning to block that number now.

Had a woman call earlier, she asked if she could speak to me by name. When my husband picked up and said I wasn’t home, she then mentioned she thought I might be looking to buy a new place. My husband wasn’t sure about that and just ended the call.
