9 yearsI just had a rather peculiar phone call from this number, with the caller addressing me by my name. I enquired who it was, and they claimed to represent Energy Guard. They were keen to chat about loft insulation. When I probed them for the address they believed they were contacting, it turned out to be the old place I vacated over five years ago-I've kept my phone number after the move. I pointed out that whoever sold them my information was clearly duping them, as there must be a multitude of other numbers in their records that have also changed residence. Curiosity got the better of me, so I asked where they sourced my details from. That seemed to catch her off guard, and she mentioned it was all on her data sheet. I suggested she must have a supervisor to whom she could escalate this issue. Subsequently, I blocked the number using BT Call Protect, 1572.
