Cold calls like these really give the whole call centre business a bad name. It’s just not on.

Is anyone aware they could get slapped with a £90K fine for ringing up people who’ve put their numbers on the TPS? Do these sales people realise or give a hoot that they might be ringing multiple times daily, loads of times a week, and often at times when most are winding down or asleep? Do they even think about who they’re bothering? What about the very old folks they’re constantly disturbing? Or those who suffer from anxiety, or folk waiting desperately for an important call? Seems like no one really cares.

No means NO! :( Honestly, it’s really disappointing, especially coming from all those bigwigs - CEOs, directors, managers, team leaders… Honestly, they should feel ashamed! Karma’s real and it’s gonna catch up with them for sure. Don’t these company bosses and managers know that hitting up people on the TPS list can land them some serious fines? It’s just not on!

n r g? GER? Honestly? Is it so desperate that you ignore the rules about calling folks who’ve said no? Do your bosses, managers, or anyone higher up even realise that your call centre keeps bugging people over and over all day long? Are your Directors and team leaders aware or even bothered that you’re still ringing up people who’ve clearly asked not to be contacted? Have they ever come across the TPS register or do they just turn a blind eye?

I reckon NRG and GER are basically the same outfit. If you wanna stop them ringing you, give NRG a ring on 01202 989700 and ask them to take your number off their list.

So, I checked out NRG on their website and it turns out there’s actually no such thing as government grants or schemes for Icynene insulation or any foam insulation really in the UK right now. Could it be these are the ones that keep ringing me? The number’s 01202 989700 if that helps anyone else.

They present themselves as part of a scheme aimed at conserving energy and supposedly backed by government initiatives. Frequently, they refer to themselves as NRG. It's quite bothersome that they ring at all hours, and they tend to switch up the mobile numbers they use. Their representatives assert that being on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) doesn't apply to them, which seems rather dubious. I’m eager to uncover their true identity so that they can be reported and, with any luck, penalised for their antics. I've already filed a complaint with the TPS.

Funny thing is, about an hour earlier, I got a call from a lass named Jessica, different number, telling me the exact same story.
