Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my PC was compromised. I played along knowing it's a con. He asked me to check my screen and tell him what I saw. When I said 'nothing', he snapped at me saying I was 'f##king blind' and then just hung up. Tried calling him back to have a word, but his phone was off.

Can’t say for sure as I didn’t pick up, it rang about 3 times today! Happy I looked it up tho. I’d probably mark this number as dodgy too, coz how do these folks even get hold of our details? Then they go and sell your phone number and all your info to other scammers. Proper annoying.

I ain’t never picked up when they ring, but I tried ringing back only to hear the phone was off or unreachable. From what I’m seeing in the other comments, these lot seem like proper nuisances that should be put out of their misery when it’s legal to get rid of time-wasters. I ended the call as soon as I knew it was spam, but they rang me back almost immediately and started calling me names for ending it. I blocked the number, but it still left me feeling annoyed.

Got a call from a young bloke, sounded Asian, he asked, "Hello, is this #My Name#?" I asked who was on the phone, then he said, "Oh hi #My Name#, I'm ringing about your outstanding debt." I replied, "I never said I was #My Name#, who's calling?" and he just replied rudely, "Oh f#ck off." He calls from a different mobile every single day - the one yesterday was 07411 496882. Best not to pick up! But if you do, make sure you block the number straight after!

Nice sounding guy on the phone, but I couldn’t catch a single word he said. When I asked him to remove me from their list, he just told me to f###k off - but it didn’t sound angry, more like a weird way of saying goodbye. Made me chuckle though! Honestly, there should be more control over this nonsense because I’ve had like 10 calls from different British numbers in just one day, but once they spoke, it was clear they’re from abroad. It’s really starting to get ridiculous now.

Some finance company called me, claiming they knew I owed money, which just isn't true. I told them if they were aware cold calling is against the law, and then they just ended the call.
