I got three calls back to back from the same number, which felt a bit strange. Thought it might be something important or maybe they were struggling to get through to me. When I finally answered, the woman was really courteous and kept apologising for bothering me and for ringing the wrong number repeatedly. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a scam or anything dodgy - seemed like a genuine mix up. She said it was from the local Boots Hearing Centre, and honestly, I believe her.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Boots Hearing Centre, saying my hearing aids were set to be collected. Bit odd cos I’ve never had a hearing test - my 12-year-old kid says my hearing's a bit dodgy, but I've never seen a specialist. Then the woman on the phone called me by a bloke’s name. I told her she had the wrong number, and she asked what my number actually was. After I told her, she quickly said sorry and admitted she’d dialled the wrong one.
