Got a voicemail from this number the other day. They said something about cancelling an order but I’d still be billed £15,000 - sounded like someone with an Asian accent. Of course, I’ve blocked the number and ignored any calls since. Last week I actually texted back by mistake to a message from them and right after that, loads of people started trying to hack my WhatsApp, sending messages in Chinese. Definitely a lesson learnt - never reply to random texts!

Got a voicemail from this number saying something like “your order’s been cancelled but you’ll still owe £15,000. Bye!” Said in a strong Asian accent. I didn’t call back and blocked the number. Actually, last week I replied to a text from them by mistake, and then suddenly loads of people were trying to hack my WhatsApp with messages in Chinese. Definitely a lesson for me - never reply to unknown texts!

Check out the message below. If you get horrible texts, snap a screenshot and send it over to '[email protected]'. It’s also a good idea to report them by texting 7726 and putting it through Action Fraud. After that, just block the caller so you don’t get any more weird messages or calls from them. That’s the best way to handle those dodgy contacts.
