I picked up the phone and the person on the other end just said “bye” and hung up straight away. Then when I tried ringing back, it told me the number isn’t in service anymore.

Got a call from some lady claiming she’s from Vodafone, saying “hello, I’m xxx from your mobile provider”. Total scam! She didn’t even know my name and worst part - I’m not even using Vodafone. Definitely one of those phishing calls to watch out for.

This bloke had a weird accent and claimed he was calling from EE with some sort of discount deal. I was pretty sure it was dodgy, so I just gave him the runaround. Didn’t take long before he just hung up on me. All reported to EE, just in case.

Got a random call saying they were from EE, which I know they never do cold call like that. Kept telling them I wasn’t convinced and after a bit of me hesitating, they just ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam.
