My dad got talked into handing over a £50 deposit by a bloke called Ryan Guthrie for roof insulation, with the rest of the £2,500 price to be paid once the job was done. He said the cost was discounted thanks to a £1,500 government voucher. When I checked the payment, the company name on the bank record was Eco-Gen London Ltd, but there was no way to contact them - no phone, no address, no website. Plus, they’ve only existed on Companies House since 15th May. Feels a bit dodgy to me.
