I got a text claiming to be from HSBC saying someone had tried to add a new payee from a device I didn’t know. It told me to click a link to either approve or cancel it. It was obviously a dodgy scam because I don’t even have an account with HSBC. Plus, the number the text came from was 447340291129, which just made it seem even more suspicious. Definitely a phishing attempt!
