I got a call from a woman claiming she was from Amazon, saying there was a payment taken from my account at like 2 in the morning for £79.99. Thing is, my Prime subscription isn’t due for renewal anytime soon. So, I logged into my Amazon to have a look, everything appeared fine. The call sounded like it was coming from some call centre with background chatter. When I asked her "who exactly am I talking to?", she just cut the call. Her accent was quite hard to follow, so the whole thing felt pretty dodgy.
