Got a text here in Cambridgeshire saying there was a payment try for Mrs K Adams from a new device around 11:30pm. I was dead to the world then, so just figured it was a scam and binned the message.

Got a call from Halifax about a new payee, some Mrs K Adams, supposedly added to my account. Told me to contact them, but I haven't set this up. Totally a scam, watch out.

Got a call saying it was from Halifax online but I don’t even have an account with Halifax. It seemed pretty convincing at first, but then they asked me to click on a link online. Definitely a scam, looks just like the real thing though. Be careful!

Got a message from 07498509214, claiming it’s Halifax. Said there was a payment from a device I’ve never used before. Told me if it wasn’t me, to go to halifax.safemy-payee[###] and cancel it. Sounds dodgy if you ask me.

Got a text from 07312875528 about some dodgy payment supposedly made through Halifax. It told me to visit a certain site but seemed like a total scam to me. I ignored the link completely and just blocked the number. Definitely wouldn't trust Halifax after this!

Heads up, got a message saying "Halifax: new device tried to make a payment, check [#]secure-halifaxonline[##4]" - weird thing is, I’ve never even banked with Halifax! Could be they mixed up the details and sent it to me by mistake, or maybe it’s one of those dodgy scam attempts. Either way, be careful!
