I've come across some dodgy characters pretending to be from a bank or claiming to be financial fraud investigators, complete with their own websites as cover. It’s quite alarming!

Just got a call from someone faking being customs about a tax invasion, telling me to call this number. No way am I falling for it, these scammers need to be stopped. I’m sure the calls can be tracked down, hope they get caught and locked away. Bloody parasites.

Got a call at 10 in the morning on the bank holiday Monday, 31.08.20, from 07312819635. They said they were from HMRC and claimed I had an arrest warrant. It was definitely an automated message, sounded a bit dodgy.

On 25th August 2020 at around 3.45pm, I received a call from this number claiming to be HMRC. After checking with a friend who had also been called before, I got suspicious and found out it was probably a scam. Sure enough, the number is flagged as risky. Plus, I spoke to about three or four people on the line, and they all spoke with Asian accents.

Got a couple of missed calls and decided to ring back. The guy on the line was really pushy, threatening to get a warrant for arrest - sounded pretty confident but what he was saying was all over the place.
