Got a message saying it was from HMRC about some kind of refund. No way HMRC sends texts like that. Definitely one of those scams.

Got a text saying I’m due a tax refund - yeah right, more like a scam. Total dodgy stuff, best just to ignore and block straight away. Don’t even think about clicking on any links! Last week alone I’ve been swamped with spam from PayPal, BT, and now HMRC as well. It’s getting ridiculous.

Just got a text from someone saying they're from "HMRC" or whatever that is, never had a clue about them. Honestly, sounds dodgy to me, wouldn't trust it at all.

I got a text supposedly from HMRC saying I could claim £340.95 tax back from 2019. It told me to go to some link like h.mrc-gov.info and fill out a form. The website was on some strange private domain, so obviously a scam trying to grab personal info.

Got a call from HMRC saying I’m owed a tax refund of £340.95 for 2019. They told me to go to some link h.mrc-gov.info and complete a form. The number is 07312808223. Seems like a scam, so best just ignore and don’t answer if they ring you.
