I tried ringing this bloke, but it just went straight to voicemail. Then he messaged me saying I should text him instead. Seems like loads of folks are getting scammed by this person. Luckily, I didn’t get caught up in it. There’s a bunch of ads under various names with over a thousand positive reviews, which makes me think he or she might’ve hacked other accounts to boost their ratings.

never send money to ebay sellers through bank transfer (bacs), no matter what they tell you. paypal exists for a reason - it keeps your money safe. don’t let these greedy scammers take advantage of you, especially when life’s already tough enough. we’re all having a hard time, but con artists and cheats are some of the lowest people, with zero ethics or heart. honestly, i hope they step on something nasty next time.

Every time I call, the phone just rings once and then goes straight to voicemail! I think they might have blocked me. When you only get a single ring before it jumps to voicemail, it could mean a few things: maybe their phone's switched off, they've got it set to automatically divert calls to voicemail (like having do not disturb on), or quite possibly, you've been blocked.

Didn't check this number until after sending money, big mistake! Sent cash to someone named Keira D Selwood (or was it Keria D Sehwood?), and as soon as I paid, all their account info and listings disappeared off eBay. They promised to update me with tracking info but kept putting it off, saying they were busy at work. Never got the phone. Seriously, steer clear of this one!

Beware of ebay scam! I sent money to a David McBride for a phone that was never real. Totally got ripped off.

Beware of an ebay scam going around. They trick you into sending cash for a phone that doesn’t even exist. What they do is take over a real ebay account with loads of positive reviews, so it looks like a trustworthy seller. Their usual move is to ask you to text them directly instead of using ebay’s messaging system. Don’t fall for it or you could end up out of pocket. Stay safe and dont respond to these dodgy folk.
