I clicked on the link using my laptop, and it ended up asking for stuff like your name, home address, and even bank card info. Seriously, don’t get tricked by this, everyone - keep your details safe!

Got a text out of the blue asking if I’d logged into my Paypal at some odd time, saying there was suspicious activity and my account was locked, with a link added in. I didn’t bother clicking it, instead I logged into Paypal myself and everything seemed fine, no weird activity. Pretty sure it was dodgy spam trying to put viruses or malware on my phone, so I just deleted the message straight away.

Got a message on Messenger saying my Paypal was locked because of some dodgy activity. It asked if I’d done a Paypal transaction at a certain time that same morning. The message told me to click a link to unlock my account. The link looked like tinyurl[###]/paypalsecuritycheck. I logged into Paypal on my computer without any issues and didn’t click that link. So, I reckon this was just another scam trying to trick me.
