Someone rang me saying it was about government benefits and told me to press 1. I did it, then there was this weird buzzing noise before the call just dropped. Sounds like a scam to me.

This bloke Lenny was looking to rent a room off me, but kept fibbing about his age - saying he was 48 one time and 44 the next! Then he got all weird, threatening to send me racy photos and even went and called me “mummy”. On top of that, he said he’s supposed to be working with vulnerable adults. Proper dodgy, if you ask me.

Got a message from someone at like 1.30 in the morning about my Gumtree ad. They said they’d bring the item over, but when I asked for some pictures they suddenly said it wasn’t there anymore. Felt off like they were just fishing for my address or something. Seemed way too friendly, offering the stuff for free AND free delivery? Nah, blocked straight away.

He comes on quite strong, kinda like he's some landlord or something, but honestly, doesn't really feel like it. Also, he keeps sending loads of messages saying you’re “someone special” or whatever.

I got a text off this number, claiming to be a landlord or something. When I asked a few questions and said I was gonna report them to the cops, they suddenly turned really rude and aggressive.

I got duped into thinking this person was a landlord offering a place to rent nearby. But something didn’t sit right, so I checked this site. When I called them out on the scam, they turned nasty, started threatening me and even hurling awful insults at me and my daughter. If you get a call from this number, definitely report it to the police!

I kind of got the vibe that they were trying to trade a place to stay in exchange for, well, some kind of personal favours. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
