Somebody rang me claiming to be from 3, saying my sim would get blocked in 2 days. I wasn’t having any of it and just hung up straight away. Feels like a scam to me.

So, some folks called saying they represented O2 and Virgin Media. I explained I’d recently ended my airtime contract because the signal was rubbish, while my family, who switched from O2 to Voxi, get a decent signal. I mentioned I’m still paying off my phone for a few months but once that’s done, I’m off. Told them straight up not to ring me again! I’ve already put one number on block that said it was O2. What a nightmare. It’s annoying because I started with Virgin Mobile, then got moved to rubbish O2.

About half an hour ago, this number rang me. Right after, I looked it up here but didn’t see any reviews, and my phone didn’t flag it as spam either. I usually ignore calls from unknown numbers, so I didn’t pick up. Now when I check, loads of others have reported it, mentioning they answered and found it was just a spam call.

I've had loads of calls lately from supposed O2 call centres, sometimes up to five in a single day. Every time it's a different UK mobile number, all on various networks, so it's clearly not legit.
