Got a text late last night claiming to be from HALIFAX saying there was a recent attempt to use mobile banking on my account. The message told me to visit a suspicious link if I didn’t know about the transaction. I don’t even have an account with Halifax, so it’s clearly a phishing scam. I’ll be contacting Halifax once their office is open to report it. Don’t click on the link, and make sure to inform both your bank and Halifax because they have teams that deal with these kinds of scams.
