That hmre number is totally a scam, just ignore it!

I got a text saying they were going to give me a refund for some tax I’d supposedly paid too much. Then they asked for my self assessment login for HMRC, which I thought was odd, but what really made me suspicious was when they wanted my credit card info as well. Definitely a scam.

Got a text from +44 7311 833425, saying there’s some issue with MyBT. Tried to block it but no luck. Anyone else getting this?

Today I got a message saying something about mybt and a problem with my last bill, telling me to update my details on some website or else my sim would be restricted. I don’t even have bt. Last week I got a nearly the same message but it said it was from 'ee' or something, which I’m not with either. So it’s obvious these are just scams, some really nasty people trying to trick us.
