Some guy rang me, sounded like he was from South Asia, and said he was with BT. He told me my IP ID was getting used by other people. He didn’t really explain why, but then wanted to send a four-digit PIN to my mobile - which I found odd since my number isn’t linked to BT at all. Next thing, he asked me to read the code back to him, still no proper reason why he needed it. Seemed fishy to me.
