I've come across a rather dodgy operation that seems to be sweeping the country. Just the other day, I received a message claiming that my account had been compromised or something along those lines. It urged me to click on some suspicious link. No chance, I won’t be falling for that!

I got a message from this number claiming there was some dodgy activity linked to my Nationwide account. It said that someone overseas was attempting to access my funds. There was a dodgy link in the message, which I wisely chose to ignore. Instead, I hopped onto my desktop to look at my Nationwide balance, only to find everything was perfectly fine-no money missing at all. I rang Nationwide to clarify things, and they confirmed it’s just a scam. Dodgy tactics, if you ask me!

I got a message claiming to be from HSBC, saying I had to approve a fund request via their app, with a link to click. It looked dodgy because it showed a sender number, and I know HSBC texts never show any number like that. Definitely a scam! I’ve blocked the number so they can’t bother me anymore.

Today I got a text from someone claiming to be Nationwide, saying something about a payment request for an R Davies on my banking app. I don’t have an account with them at all, so I just ignored it and definitely didn’t click any link. Looks like a total scam to me.

Just got a message from this number, saying someone called R. Davies was trying to withdraw money from my Nationwide account due to suspicious activity. The text had a link, but I didn’t click it. Instead, I logged into my Nationwide account on my computer to check. Luckily, nothing was missing. When I called Nationwide, they confirmed it was a scam.
