Somebody rang me saying they were from O2, even though I’ve got my settings to not accept any calls from unknown numbers. I told him his story didn’t add up and he started shouting loads of rubbish at me. I wasn’t in the mood to take it, so I gave as good as I got and he ended the call. I’ve now blocked the number.

What a scam! He started off saying he was calling about my amazon account. When I told him I don’t actually have one, he just cut the call straight away. Suspicious if you ask me.

Had a dodgy call from someone pretending to be from Three, and it didn’t take long for me to realise it was a scam. The moment they said they were Three, I hung up straight away. Watch out, because these scammers use phone numbers and emails that seem proper. If an offer sounds unbelievable or there’s supposed to be an issue with your account, be very cautious before giving out any details. Stay alert!

First, it sounded like some sort of HMRC legal threat but then the caller switched up and spoke like they weren’t even from here. Proper dodgy.
