I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, but it didn’t seem right since they were ringing from a standard mobile number. As far as I know, official HMRC contacts always come through letters, not phone calls like that. Pretty sure it was a scam.

I picked up, but they just hung up straight away.

Had a voicemail from some lot claiming I was in trouble for tax fraud, didn’t even say who they were with. They sounded proper aggressive and threatening, telling me to press 1 straight away or I’d be sued. Total scam if you ask me!
