Got a text saying it was Halifax, telling me to pay J Adams £250 by clicking a link. Seemed dodgy to me, as I wouldn't expect Halifax to message like that. Definitely felt like a scam.

Said they were calling from Halifax, but ended up sending me to a sketchy site that looked dodgy. Be careful, it could be unsafe.

Tricky number, just rang saying I approved a payment of £250 to some bloke called J Adams at 11.30pm tonight. Don’t bother replying, the message links to a dodgy scam site. Stay well clear!
