Got a message from HSBC saying a payment was made to a new payee and to log in right away if it wasn’t me, with a weird link attached. I’ve just bought something from a US company online, so I’m pretty sure they’re the reason I got this dodgy phishing text. Wanted to check if anyone else has had the same.

Got a text saying it was from HSBC about a payment tried to a new person. The message urged me to log in right away if it wasn’t me, giving this link XXXX. Thing is, the website it led to definitely wasn’t an HSBC site. Bit dodgy, if you ask me.
