Got an email saying I was billed for some PC World tech subscription, telling me to ring this number if I had any issues. The address they gave was something like 1307 East Geffer Lane, Suite 301, LA 90091 and also 57 Boroughbridge Rd, Birmingham, B2 9DY. Today I got two calls from 07310586863. The first time, they left a voicemail with an automated message asking me to ring back, which I just ignored. Then, at about 3.16pm, they called again and I picked up, only to hear another automated voice telling me to call that number back because H M R C was taking legal action against me over taxes. This sort of thing could really scare older folks who might not be familiar with these scams. Honestly, with all the tech we have now, phone companies should be able to block numbers like this as soon as folks report them as scammers.
