This was clearly a scam, I’ve never even opened an account with Halifax.

Got a message from this number and it’s definitely a scam, don’t answer or call back. Halifax texts always include your name plus a bit of your account number, plus they don’t use mobile numbers to get in touch - they go with 0800 or 03 numbers. So yeah, watch out and just block them straight away.

I’d reckon it’s a scam, claiming it’s Halifax calling. Thing is, I’ve never even had an account with them. They said someone’s been using my details or something like that.
