In the early hours of 15th September 2020, around 12:23am, I got a dodgy text from 07310489790 pretending to be PayPal. It said something like, "Your account's been put on hold for safety reasons. Click [#]paypal-user-id202[###] to fix it." I knew straight away it was some sort of scam trying to catch me out. I tried calling the number later but couldn’t get an answer. Pretty obvious this was a fake message - I don’t even have a PayPal account!

Got a message saying my PayPal account had been suspended. But when I checked directly on the PayPal website, nothing about any suspension showed up. Feels like this could be the beginning of a scam, right?
