Received a call purporting to be about tax evasion from HMRC. I highly suspect it’s a scam. As someone who is disabled and hasn’t held a job in quite some time, my only source of income is benefits. Don’t hesitate to block that number immediately and pay it no mind whatsoever!

I received a rather posh message regarding tax evasion and was advised not to engage. Seems a bit dodgy, if you ask me - definitely sounds like a scam!

Had a posh chap pretending to be from HMRC, claiming I owed tax or something. He wanted me to ring him back - as if! Not falling for that old trick.
