Got a message from +447310119437 saying that a new gadget was added to my PayPal account. They claimed if it wasn’t me (which it obviously wasn’t), I should click a link. The link’s the same dodgy one loads have already warned about online. What I did was send the text to 7726, which is the number the government gave for reporting phishing texts. If you get phishing emails, they say to forward those to [email protected] - works brilliantly every time!

Got a dodgy message claiming a new gadget was linked to my PayPal on 5th August at 6.44 PM. Said if it wasn’t me, I should jump onto some weird website - [#]user-id216 com - to sort things out. I don’t even have any devices connected to PayPal, and this isn’t the number I'd ever use for that kinda stuff. Total phishing scam if you ask me.
