Got a dodgy text claiming to be from PayPal, clearly a phishing attempt. Honestly, why can't these muppets just get a proper job like the rest of us? I've reported the number straight to Action Fraud.

Got a text claiming to be from PayPal, but it looked fishy. Definitely one of those scam messages trying to trick people. Be careful and don’t click any links!

Got a text just now around 12:13 saying my PayPal payment to "mr mackie okudah" is on hold. It had a link to supposedly stop the payment. Pretty obvious scam or phishing attempt as it's been sent to others too, and I don't even have a PayPal account. Don’t tap the link, just report it and trash the message.

Got a text from this number at like 5.53 in the morning saying my PayPal payment to someone named Mr Mackie Okudah was on hold. The message said if it wasn’t me, I should click some link to block the payment. Thing is, I don’t even have a PayPal account, so I ignored it and didn’t click the link at all. Seems like some sort of phishing attempt to me.

Got a text supposedly from PayPal saying my payment to Mr Mackie Okudah was on hold, and I had to click a link to fix it. I did have a PayPal account so it seemed legit at first, but my browser flagged the site as dodgy, so I shut it down straight away. Then I looked back at old PayPal messages and saw this one was from a completely different number. Definitely don’t click those links!
