I got a message claiming it was from HSBC about a new payee being added to my account, asking me to click a link if I didn’t authorise it. I rang HSBC directly to check, and they told me it wasn’t anything to do with them. They’re aware of this scam and advised me to just ignore the message and definitely avoid clicking the link.
