It’s definitely dodgy. I saw a missed call from someone named P & T Barbers, so I told my partner about it. He phoned them back and the person on the line said they were a mortgage firm, which made no sense at all. Feels like a proper scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, saying my SIM card was about to be blocked. When I asked if it was a scam, they just admitted it and hung up right away.

Got a call from someone saying my SIM card needed replacing and they’d be sending me a new one soon. They were really pushing for me to do it quickly, which felt just like the usual tricks telco scammers pull.
