Got a text from +44 7925 658442 saying there’s a “New Pay Request for Mr C JONES” via my HSBC mobile banking. Problem is, I don’t even have an account with HSBC. Pretty clear it’s a scam, so beware and don’t click any links!

Got a text saying HSBC wanted a payment for some guy called C J Jones, which was an obvious scam since I’m not even with that bank!! Normally they ring the landline and once you call them out for being total scam artists, they start abusing you. Proper lowlife scum, honestly.

Got a call from someone about home insulation, said they did some work in my area last year. Yeah right, as if I'd fall for that! Honestly, being on the TPS doesn't seem to stop these annoying calls at all.

Got a call from a number showing as private. No voicemail or anything, just rang and hung up. I tried calling back after about half an hour from my landline, but the operator told me the number didn’t exist. Pretty sure it was one of those dodgy call centre tricks. To be safe, I’ve blocked it on my phone as well. Definitely a scam attempt.
