Just got a call today from this number, saying they were from HMRC and that I was involved in some criminal case for avoiding tax. Total scam, obviously! They wanted me to press option 1 to keep talking. I’ve always been sure that HMRC wouldn’t ever ring you up like that.

I got a call from someone saying they were Dr Iqbal’s assistant, checking about a medical appointment for a injury claim related to a car crash. Definitely wasn’t a scam or anything dodgy.

hey guys, got a ring from 07308671969 which turned out to be a scam, so don’t bother leaving any messages if it asks you to. loads of dodgy people out there. best thing is to just block any numbr that's unfamiliar. stay safe!

Had a dodgy firm pretending to offer a loan but they wanted cash upfront first, seemed fishy so I ended up reporting it to the police. Definitely a scam!
